The sun is shining. The day seemed perfect yesterday, but it wasn’t. Oops, there is water leaking on the kitchen counter, and it appears that it could be coming from my upstairs bathroom. Solution: plumber will come tomorrow. Oops #2: Lily, grandchild, just tested positive for Covid, and she spent the night cuddling with Martha, daughter, because she did not feel well. Oops #3: renovation delayed again because the city inspectors must come again – time period within a month. So no action, just wires hanging everywhere, ceiling removed, and tarps up everywhere to block out dust from inactive renovation.
Today is not a winner either except the plumbing is now fixed, and it wasn’t a bathroom leak but a broken pipe from renovation. Today’s downsides, both Martha and granddaughter, Ella, now have Covid. Only upsides, Lily is much better, and I am still Covid free.
