The writing bug has truly struck our family. Only the men seem to be exempt from this malady. The women have it big time. The latest to be stricken is daughter-in-law Shari with her just-out book Hear & Beyond with co-author Gael Hannan. It is a must read for everyone who has a hearing problem. The book zeroes in on how to live with hearing loss. It is based not on hearing better but on communicating better, and she is certainly a pro at this.
I do have to tell you this. Shari’s daughter Aerin beat her mom in getting the writing bug. Last year, at only 18, during the Pandemic, she co-authored Antiqua: Learning Latin and Ancient Greek Together.
I got the writing bug first and got it bad. My co-author Peggy Gisler and I have now written more than 100 books from textbooks to career books to children’s books, and now we are creating apps. Furthermore, my daughter Martha, sister-in-law Rachel Kelsey and two nieces Mary and Jane have all written books, too. If you want to see the most enthusiastic review ever written (life-changing in fact), look at the reviews for Plants by Jane Kelsey on Amazon. Few authors have ever received such praise. And I mean FEW. You will find the review highly amusing!!!!
